Dr. Michelle Torrance is a licensed naturopathic physician and acupuncturist in Washington State and a graduate of Bastyr University. She furthered her clinical education through postgraduate studies at Shuguang Hospital in Shanghai, China, deepening her experience in acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of the Pacific in California.

Dr. Torrance takes a personalized, whole-person approach to care and welcomes both patients seeking a primary care physician and those looking for support with specific health and wellness concerns. Her areas of clinical interest include women’s health throughout the lifespan—from adolescence through menopause—including hormonal health and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), family planning, allergies and sensitivities, thyroid health, digestive concerns such as reflux, and skin conditions.

She is passionate about helping patients better understand their health and creating individualized care plans that support hormonal balance, overall wellness, and long-term well-being. When she isn’t helping patients, you can find her with her husband and Pomeranian, named Fritz – and you might even see him around the office!

Dr. Leonardo Franzese grew up in New Jersey before moving to Camano Island, Washington, in 1995. Drawn to the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest—including its mountains, forests, and Puget Sound—he has proudly called the region home ever since. He went on to earn his doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle.

Dr. Franzese is a general care practitioner who welcomes patients ages 14 and older. He has a particular interest in helping patients address chronic conditions and supporting overall wellness through individualized, integrative care. He also has a strong focus on hormonal health and hormone replacement therapy (HRT), working with patients to understand their unique symptoms, health goals, and hormonal needs. His approach emphasizes personalized treatment plans designed to support healthy hormone levels, energy, mood, metabolism, and overall quality of life.

Affectionately known as “Dr. Lenny” around SNC, he takes the time to look beyond symptoms and explore the underlying factors contributing to his patients’ health concerns. He is committed to partnering with his patients to better understand their health and develop thoughtful, individualized approaches that help them feel their best.

Outside the office, Dr. Franzese enjoys time with his wife and young daughter. His love of the Pacific Northwest has inspired a passion for cooking, culture, hiking, biking, and foraging for wild mushrooms, often bringing his culinary creativity into the kitchen.

Dr. Teresa Goldsmith has been practicing as a naturopathic doctor and Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner in the Pacific Northwest since 2011. Her journey into naturopathic medicine began with a strong foundation in the sciences. She studied biology and biochemistry before earning her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from California State University.

After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Goldsmith discovered Bastyr University, where she found an opportunity to bring together her love of science, medicine, and natural approaches to healing. She moved to Kenmore, Washington, to earn her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University. Alongside her naturopathic medical education, she completed an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner program through the Kerala Ayurveda Academy, expanding her knowledge of traditional healing practices and whole-person wellness.

Dr. Goldsmith is passionate about helping patients feel their best through an integrative and individualized approach to care. She has a particular interest in supporting patients experiencing depression and anxiety, taking a whole-person approach that considers the many factors that can influence emotional well-being. She also incorporates massage therapy into her practice to support relaxation, stress management, and overall wellness.

Outside of the office, Dr. Goldsmith enjoys spending time with her family, seeking out sunshine, dancing, and tending to her herb garden. Her love of nature and traditional wellness practices continues to be an important part of both her personal life and her approach to patient care.
